Thank you for wanting something different. Thank you for believing that something in this publication is going to inform you and your life in someway. Thank you. I got you. When I decided to get into this business I did it because I knew that we could give the public something new, something good, something fresh, something with swag, and something that could speak for hip hop culture. So while putting THIS type of book together I learned that you have to stay grounded, you have care about people, and you have to stay down, or you won’t get anywhere. Because I respect those principles and live by them, I’m here in this business, and I love it.
I have had to restructure. I have had to let people look at this book, then revise, redesign, and rewrite. I made some tough decisions, but I know we are giving the public a better product because of it. So if I left anyone or anything out charge it to my head and not my heart. I’ll get you next time.
See I learned how to lock people in a long time ago with DJing. You’re not always going to do everything right. Sometimes you have to revise, restructure, get some new tools, and some new music to make things pop. Now I’m going to lock people in with this magazine, and yes, sometimes I’m going to have to change things to make things better.
So stay tuned readers. It’s time. I’m on the turn tables yet again, that leg is moving, and I’m not stopping. I’m just pressing ‘Go.’ I just RocHarder. Come with me. I’d like to thank Kaye Marie, LJ Malone (Macon Rep), and Fletcher (Macon Rep) for all of their hard work.Special thanks to my djs, the RocHarder DJs and the Hittmenn DJs for staying with me, my family, my staff, and our God.

The Element of Surprise: Tip #1
Women like surprises. Use this to your advantage. Next time you see your girl. Without talking, and without the normal kissing and touching, just remove the necessary garments and proceed. She will stop you if necessary.

Something New: Tip # 2
Go to the strip club with your girl. Odds are that she will see how other girls are exciting you, and show a little bit of her competitive nature later in the night. Don’t forget to tip her. ;-)

Sensational Moments: Tip #3
You’ve seen the video. Giving your girl a variety of sensations in the bedroom is a surefire way to make sure the ‘neighbors know your name.’ That said, ice, blowing, biting, Listerine Strips, light touches, and squeezes are all welcome. Hint: Do one thing then do the exact opposite, so light touches should be followed by biting. Don’t give the same sensations all night

Anticipation: Tip #4
Build anticipation by sending a sexy text message during dinner. Is your girl a little slack about checking her phone while she’s with you? Write it on a napkin, slide it over, and be sure to include an LOLJ if it’s a little edgier than normal.

Ladies

The Element of Surprise: Tip #1
Next time you’re driving with your man in the car, and you approach a stop sign, instead of moving towards the next intersection, put the car in park and move toward his happy region. He won’t be expecting it, you might scare him a little bit, and he will NEVER forget it. ***Caution:
Do not this during times of high traffic or high visibility.

Something New: Tip #2
Your man has no reason to cheat if you can give him a little bit of everything. Open the door wearing something different. You can be a nurse, a French maid, a Cat Woman, stripper, hell whatever you want. Just don’t forget to BECOME your character all the way around. Exotic dance lessons can definitely take your role playing exercises to a new level.

Sensational Moments: Tip #3
Men are typically in control. Appeal to his sensations by blindfolding him and using your handcuffs, (if you’re reading this we know you have some) then provide as many different sensations as possible on different areas. He won’t know what’s coming next!

Anticipation: Tip #4
Men are visual. Already know he’s going to have a rough day? Send him pictures every 2 hours giving him peeks of what’s to come once he gets home. His day will improve dramatically because of you, and you’ll remind
him that you’re there for him

As I pull up to Philips Areana for the Atlanta Hawks preseason match up against the Washington Wizards, riding to Rick Ross, Deeper Than Rap, preparing to interview the Hawks All-Star Shooting Gurad Joe Johnson; I can only think of how his style embodies the name of Ross’s goup Triple C’s” Cool, Calm and Collective. Those are just a few of the smooth adjectives that could be used to describe Johnson as he enters his 5th year in the “A”.

The impact has been far and wide. The MAN-MADE disaster caused a prestigious musical culture to literally be washed away. But whenever

something is destroyed, then it’s gotta be rebuilt right? And bigger and better! Fast forward to 2010 and a Phoenix has arisen from the ashes! Get real familiar with the newest AND freshest talent to come outta New Orleans. After stellar performances at the world renowned Congo Square stage @ the Jazz & Heritage festival 2010, the Industry Influence Music Conference, and countless other venues, here comes Y. Luck!!!!

What’s good homie?

What’s happnin with ya big dog?

What kinda’ style are you rocking?:

Actually my style is more along the lines of no style at all. I feel like I can do whatever, whenever, and however on any level at any time, on any beat. So, I wouldn’t say I don’t have a style, BUT I would say my style is….my own!

How long you been doin’ this rap thing?

Well I been rapping about 5 years, but I didn’t get focused and serious till about a year ago. It would be about 2 years strong giving it my all and really saying, “ok this is what I’m gonna do, full time.”

How’d you gain so much ground in 2010, so fast?

Well I’m a strong believer that if you do anything well long enough you will be successful, so I just kept writing & perfecting my craft until I was ready to actually hit the streets with it. So when 2010 came I said to myself…THIS IS MY YEAR! And in a game where everybody wants to be like the next big thing, they just saw someone they have always looked up to and liked. I just want to be the best me I can be! When I decided I wasn’t gonna be like, or do what everyone else was doing, & I was gonna be ME, then I think people really started saying…”Who is this dude and what is he talking about? And I perfected my craft. So when they finally saw what I was talking about, they had to go tell someone. Thus began the spread of the name Y. LUCK!

I saw Mystikal on your website(www.yluck7.com) in pictures and videos, so

what’s your ties with him?

Well after his “situation,” he came home and immediately went to work! Everyone knows when you’re trying to do anything with music in New Orleans, you have to go through Wayne. By the grace of God for whatever reason, Wild Wayne brought him to watch one of my show practices. Not only was I shocked, but I was also honored! He is the person who I watched years ago, and I said if I ever rapped that’s how I want my show to be… live, hype, and non-stop excitement. Well after the introduction, he watched a lil bit of my show in practice, then he asked me when my next show was cause he wanted to come. So once again Wild Wayne hooked it up for me to open up for him at The Industry Influence Music Conference, and he saw it first hand and immediately after the show he invited me down to his studio in Baton Rouge. After about 5 hours of

kicking it, and getting to know each other, he decided “Ok I have to do something with YOU!” And as they say… The rest is history!

What’s the name of your new album?

“Beginnerz Luck,” I named it that because people are anticipating it, expecting it to be a big album. And if it does what we think, then of course the haters are gonna say it was just beginner’s luck. So I decided to say it first, just to let people know I’m way ahead of you.

Any upcoming collabos?

Well I’m working with Mystikal of course on a bunch of things, my sister as well, and also my producer/ singer Roi “Chip” Anthony. Other than that… just my people, cause I feel like we have enough talent right here in my city(New Orleans)!

Are you on Twitter?

Yes “yluck7”

Good “LUCK” on everything! See ya

at the top!

The 20 year old hailing from Atlanta, Georgia has the “A” on smash with the club banger “What’s it Gonna Be” produced by DJ Plugg. Also one of my favorite tracks is A.T.L.A.N.T.A., G.E.O.R.G.I.A. by Ashton formerly know as “young bank”. Everywhere I go I hear this name Ashton, so we decided to check him out for ourselves over at RocHarder!

“I want to change the music industry, better yet the world, I have a story to tell. I remember when I was in elementary school and I told my teacher I wanted to be the president and she laughed! From that point I went hard!”
